Markus Oberndorfer
Der Fotograf Markus Oberndorfer (1980) versucht in seinem Werk vor allem eines: Das Hier und Jetzt festzuhalten und dabei gleichzeitig das Gefühl für Raum und Zeit mitzutransportieren. In seiner Fotofilmserie „untitled_in_case“ beschäftigt sich Oberndorfer mit dem urbanen und suburbanen Raum, seiner Architektur, Mystik und Funktion sowie mit Graffiti und Street Art, die durch äußere Einflüsse, wie Witterung, lebendig aber auch vergänglich sind. Auf vielschichtigen Ebenen stellt der Künstler das Gefühl des, oftmals illegalen, Arbeitens im öffentlichen Raum, die Vergänglichkeit und die räumliche Wahrnehmung in ästhetischen Bildern künstlerisch dar.
The photographer Markus Oberndorfer (1980) attempts above all in his works to hold onto the here and now while at the same time conveying the feeling of space and time. In his photo-film series “untitled_in_case”, Oberndorfer deals with urban and suburban space, its architecture, mystic and function as well as with graffiti and street art that through external influences such as weather are alive but also fading. On multi-layered levels in aesthetic pictures, the artist artistically illustrates the feeling of the (often illegal) work in public space as well as the transience and the spatial perception associated there within.
